After attending the University of Western Ontario for business, and Fanshawe College for a post graduate marketing diploma, Caley joined his father in the family business. As the fourth generation Ferguson at Northern, his roles include HR, Customer Relations, and Finance. He and his daughters Cooper and Piper love traveling and meeting new people but often, can be found at the hockey rink. Caley is excited for the future of Northern Casket and looks forward to meeting and serving everyone in the funeral profession.
Email CaleyChristopher and his wife Tonya were married in 2024 on the beach in Jamaica surround by friends and family. They have two dogs Boss and Keyla who they love and consider kids. Chris enjoys golf, baseball, bowling, and the summer. He also enjoys long weekends up at the cottage in Haliburton. As logistics manager his main duty is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of our product to our valued clients and handle customer service along the way.
Email ChrisMichelle joined Northern Casket in 2004 and quickly became a valuable part of the customer service team. Michelle has cross trained in all facets of the Northern Casket office including payroll, customer service, order entry, and accounts receivables and payables. Mother to three and grandmother to three. She loves spending her free with time with her fur babies, family, and friends when she’s not dispatching for Poppa Ed’s taxi.
Email MichelleKirsty joined the Northern Casket office team in 2018, bringing many years of customer service experience to the Order Desk. Mother of three, and grandmother of three, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and practicing Yoga when not working at our local Boston Pizza.
Email KirstyEvan began with Northern Casket in 2004 when it became clear that new processes and systems were needed to keep up with the times. His ingenuity and attention to detail have helped Northern Casket keep up with new technologies and products while maintaining a strict level of quality. Evan and Angie have four kids that keep them extremely busy.
Email EvanRick joined Northern in 1990 and quickly moved up through all departments giving him a wealth of Northern Casket product and service knowledge. Spending many years in the trim department and on the road as a deliver driver, Rick is also part of Northern's on-call team. Rick is also very passionate about his other job as a Kawartha Lakes Volunteer Fire Fighter.
Email RickGlen is a 3rd generation Funeral Director having grown up under the tutelage of his Father Bud Miller at Miller Funeral Chapel in Caledonia. Aspiring to obtain more experience, Glen moved to Toronto and worked as a Senior Director at Ward Funeral Home in Weston from 1990 to 1999. Glen found his time at Ward's thoroughly rewarding however after 10 years, he was ready to embark on a new phase of his career. Wanting to remain in the industry.
Email GlenRon’s gift to everyone he meets is empathy. A genuine interest in people and their story defines his approach to building rapport quickly. He listens because he cares, he understands because he asks the right questions and he helps because he likes to make good things happen. His forte’ is seeing opportunity in people and their businesses, even when owners or managers cannot. Ron’s career was cultivated as an account manager in large corporations, but his passion is working with funeral homes, small businesses and community agencies.
Email RonBlaine joined the Northern Casket sales team in 2019 to Spearhead it’s growth into the US and international markets. Having worked at Northern Casket as a summer student in his youth, Blaine’s career path has included owning his own businesses as well as international sales management positions within the death care universe. Blaine, his wife Szabina and two daughters are proud to call Lindsay home and love to travel as a family.
Email BlaineTucker joined the Northern Casket team in April of 2021, from the Supply Chain & Operations Management program at Durham College with a wealth of knowledge on current and up-to-date business practices to bring to Northern. Tucker comes from a long line of entrepreneurs who have taught him the value of good work ethic and superb customer service. Tucker spearheads the purchasing aspect of Northern's operations, he is also a part of Northern's on-call team. Away from work, Tucker enjoys spending his time surrounded by family and friends.
Email TuckerWise beyond her years, Winnie joined Northern Casket full-time in 2018 and wears many hats in our office. Always a good listener and one who does not like to be ignored, she brings peace and calm to our (often) hectic office. She lives full-time with Caley and his girls but gets to have sleepovers at her bestie Michelle’s house when Caley and his girls are away from home.
